We do not ask for or process sensitive data. We make no automated decisions with legal effect on you.
A partner (distributor, architect, showroom) can bring their customers into the portal: create accounts for them, send them configuration links or offers. For those customers’ data the partner decides the purpose, and LC Design hosts and processes it on the partner’s behalf in order to deliver the service. Orders placed through a partner’s link go to that partner; LC Design sees them only to administer the portal. A partner sees only their own customers and orders.
We do not transfer data outside the European Union, except for loading the technical resources above, which may be served from outside the EU under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The portal uses the session cookie to keep you signed in; it is deleted when you close the browser or sign out. If you tick “Stay signed in on this device” at login, we set one more cookie, valid 30 days, that recognises you without a password on that device; we delete it when you sign out or change your password. Your chosen language and last configurator settings are kept in your browser’s memory, not with us. We use no tracking or advertising cookies, so there is no banner to accept.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent for e-mail news. Account data can be corrected in “My account”. For any other request write to office@lcdesign.ro; we answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Romanian supervisory authority ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro) or the authority in your own country.
Passwords are stored only in encrypted form, the connection is encrypted (HTTPS), access to data is limited by role, and the portal has daily backups. If we learned of an incident affecting your data, we would notify you without delay.
app.lcdesign.ro is a tool made available by LC Design to its partners and their customers: a visual handle configurator, technical PDF sheets, offers, orders and stock information. The portal is intended for professionals (companies, architects, designers) and the customers they invite; it is not an online shop.
The account is personal; you are responsible for keeping the password safe and for actions made from your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect someone else is using it. We may suspend an account that is misused or breaches these terms.
An order sent from the portal is a request, not a payment: the final price, lead time and delivery conditions are confirmed between you and your partner (or LC Design, if you work directly with us) before execution. Displayed prices are indicative, in the chosen currency, and may be updated; an offer generated from the portal has its prices and exchange rate fixed on the generation date and is valid for the period written on it. Displayed stock is informative and may differ from the actual stock at confirmation.
Partners with embedding rights may display the configurator on their own website, with their own margin, only on the domain declared in the portal. The partner is responsible for the content of and the information given to customers on their website.
Product images, technical sheets, texts and the portal’s code belong to LC Design or its suppliers (Enger). You may use them to present the products to your customers, not for other commercial purposes without our consent.
The portal is provided “as is”; we do our best to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee the absence of interruptions or display errors. We are not liable for indirect losses resulting from use of the portal. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it.
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any dispute is first resolved amicably; otherwise the courts of Bucharest have jurisdiction.
We may update this document; the version in force is the one published here, with the date above. For important changes we notify you in the portal or by e-mail.
